I am cheating on my DVR with You Tube. I love You Tube for reasons like this. The last time I saw a Flyer get hit that hard in the playoffs, it was #88 laying on the ice trying to figure out where he was. This is why the NHL playoffs are the best in sport. You just don’t see that kind of thing happen anywhere else. I like the Devils/Rangers Series. Good scrap at the end of the game Saturday. The emotion is up in the Spring, lets hope we see some more fights.

What about Tucker on Kappanen?
I just read back 6 or so pages of the blog here. Great stuff! Hearing you blab about AHL is an interesting perspective. I’m in Calgary now so I just get to hear mostly about the big show and little to no info on AHL/ECHL. Especially since Calgary switched teams to OKC.
It reminds me of the differences between the SJHL and WHL versions of my hometown Swift Current Broncos. I worked at the games when I was just 7 years old selling 50/50s and running equipment for the team. When the SJHL Indians became the WHL Broncos, it was a totally different game.
You are lucky to live in an area with so much hockey going on. Major junior is awesome and everything but I’d pay good money to see Sgroi, Orr and the rest of those guys for 20 minutes a night. It’s better than yawning my way through a Flames game for $60 a pop.

Being surrounded by the AHL is great. I am 30 minutes from 3 teams. 4 next year when Worcester comes back. If I want to take a road trip, I can go two hours for at least 6 more. I go to every Lockmonster home game, and I honestly prefer the A. I find it to be cheaper on the wallet, and the hockey is just as good. Thanks for the comment zeolite. I like your blog.
