The day was not without its hiccups. Most of them were Molson induced, admittedly. But the first Goonblog Podcast is ready for listening, and Chris and I hope you enjoy it. Now, a few more notes on the day. The podcast you’ll hear is about half of what we recorded. After a shitshow at the Banknorth, including altercations, too much beer and a soul-sucking hockey game – I lost my goddamn digital voice recorder. So what you hear is what you get for this episode. I never said I was Walter Winchell, and I think our amateurish segues and hamhanded editing could have turned out a lot worse. See what you think, gooners.
Chris
Dude. I think that came out good for our first attempt. The lost recorder stuff was gold. Note to self: Molson will make more.

A beauty!!! Excellent start to what will hopefully be a regular series. This is soooo much better than the drivel we are spoon fed by Dale “Mr. Rogers” Arnold or his side kick, Andy “I have a face made for radio” Brickley. If NESN had any balls they would put you guys on for 15 minutes pre, or post game, and talk to the real hawkey fans in the area. Keep up the fine work!
The Ref
Thanks Dennis. I do have to work on the levels a wee bit as I’m sure I’ve shattered speakers all over hockeydom with that Fisher Price microphone we used.
Greg
Well done boys! Ref, haven’t forgot about your request, haven’t really had the chance to bring it up with RJB yet. Will try hard to make that happen for you guys. Keep up the good work
Chris
Thanks for the kudos boys. Again, I am pleased with what we have. Not really sure what the “lost tapes” would have held. I know there was a BRILLIANT Hal Gill joke in there, but can’t speak for the rest.
Killer
How’s she goin eh? Nice job on the podcast boys. Maybe next time u can do it from the parking lot in the 84′ pinto with mud flaps. I still think the Bruins will blow this year but hey it’s hockey and a chance to drink, why not enjoy the game.
Chris
They made Chara the Captain today. Bead idea. I like Boston to be 6th in the East.
